Welcome to Memaw's Taxidermy. I'm Lexy — I preserve your memories with skill, care, and an old soul's attention to detail. So bring it on down to Memaw's.
I'm an outdoorsy girl through and through. Hunting, horses, fishing — if it's outside, I'm there. But there's a Memaw side to me too. When I'm not in the field, you'll find me making bread and butter, canning jams, sewing, needlepointing, or dragging my girls through every antique store we can find.
That mix is the whole point. I bring an old soul's patience to the bench, and I treat every animal — and the day you took it — with the care it earned. Every mount that leaves my studio is one I'd be proud to hang in my own home.
— Lexy, Memaw's Taxidermy
The name started as a joke in a Mexican-restaurant parking lot. Everyone's always called me a granny — an old soul trapped in a 23-year-old body — so I said we should just call it Memaw's. They lost it: "That's the one. It's so you." A few months later, here we are.
A waterfowl specialty, plus feather art you won't find just anywhere — and everything else that walks, flies, or swims.
Ducks done right — drakes and hens, standing on driftwood or locked up in full flight.
Turkey fans and duck-wing displays set in custom barnwood frames, engraved with your hunt and year.
Grouse, quail, and full turkey mounts posed natural or strutting.
Shoulder mounts and European skulls with clean capes and lifelike facial detail.
Skin mounts and hand-painted reproductions matched to your photos.
Driftwood perches, tree scenes, and bases built to match the mount.
A growing catalog of finished mounts. Tap any piece to view it larger.
